*** The Lake is the largest fresh water in South East Asia.
*** In high water season, it expands the surface to some 10,000 square meters and some 14 meters in depth.
*** In low water season, water comes out to Mekong river and its size is only 3,000 square meters and some 2 meters in depth.
*** Over 300 species of fresh water fishes, as well as snakes, crocodiles, tortoises, turtles and otters.
*** More than 100 varieties water birds including storks, pelicans, etc...

Hanoi Authority just approved a plan of building an amusement park, which is liken to be a Disneyland Amusement Park. The project is said to be on the area of 198 hectares just outside of Hanoi  City center.
The name of the park will be Kim Quy or Golden Turtle Amusement Park, this is one of the top 25 amusement parks will be built around Hanoi in next five years.
Hanoi Kim Quy (Golden Turtle) Amusement Park would be installed with modern entertainment equipments, which met the international standards. The Kim Quy Amusement Park would be a beautiful and modern park, which is expected to be compared with the famous Disneyland in Hong Kong. The park will be located in a very convenient area that you need some 30 minute driving from city center, closed to International airport and surrounded with many nice landscapes as well as traditional villages.
Hanoi hopes to expand more and bring the unique traditional together with public places to not only local residents but also international tourists.

Where King Kong “Skull Islands” movie filmed in Vietnam?

“Kong: Skull Island,” a production of Legendary Pictures with distribution by Warner Bros. Pictures, will immerse audiences in the mysterious island where the dangerous ape lives. It is confirmed that, the final stage of this movie, which followed the King Kong filming chains will be captured in Vietnam. The source from Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism that the “Kong: Skull Island” crew will start shooting a number of scenes at;

***Son Doong cave, the world's largest cave and in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the north-central province of Quang Binh first.
*** The production of this film will also be carried out in the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex as well as in Tam Coc site in the northern province of Ninh Binh
*** And the famous World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province.

Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts is said to arrive in Vietnam on February 2016, and hundreds of his crew members as well as the film’s actors and actresses will follow some days later to prepare for the first shooting.
The local authorities hope that, Vietnam country will be known more and more to tourists all over the world through the amazing scenes of this film.
